Daily Walks on the Common

Tired of being inside? Feeling cooped up? Come to the Craftsbury Common each day, 4pm, for a stroll/walk around the Common. It's good to be outside. It's good to see one another (keeping good social distance, of course!). Just come. We'll meet at the Gazebo.

Monday Soup Suppers

Join your Craftsbury Neighbors for a free, weekly Soup Supper on Mondays 5-6pm. Meals can be picked up from the UCC (Church on the Common) side entryway between 5-6pm. You can also arrange for delivery by calling Kris #586-8022 or email mama.kris.coville@gmail.com. If you are able to let us know you are coming for pick up please do.

Meals come cold for you to reheat in your own containers at home.



 

COVID 19 Craftsbury/Albany Emergency Food Pick Up Thursday 12-2PM

The Craftsbury Food Fund is sponsoring Emergency Food for Neighbors every Thursday. 12-3pm at United Church of Craftsbury. Thanks to donations from local farms and businesses, veggies, meat, dairy products and more, much of it local, is available to any one in need. No questions asked, no need to demonstrate income. Friday Distant Reiki session with Lisa-Anne

Craftsbury’s Neighbor to Neighbor volunteers have reached throughout our community with compassion. This within itself has touched the uncertainty and grief that many are experiencing. Let us remember the importance of self-care so we can continue to show up for ourselves and our loved ones. Reiki is universal life force. It’s a powerful healing modality that supports the parasympathetic nervous system, telling the body to relax, recuperate, and return to a balanced state. Reiki balances and aligns your mind, body, and soul by unveiling a relaxed and stress free you! It also helps you recover from depression and anxiety.

During the session it’s preferable but not necessary for the receiver to be in a quiet place, either sitting or lying down, and take a few deep breaths...speak your intention several times. I’ll be in my home in a meditative state offering the reiki to flow to the receiver.
