Craftsbury Recreation Committee, committed to expanding recreational opportunities for Craftsbury children and families.

The Craftsbury Recreation Committee (CRC) plans events so people in our town and surrounding towns can have access to opportunities and enriching activities at little or no cost to families. While the CRC plans several events throughout the year, our longest running event is Craftsbury Old home day. At Old Home Day the CRC has games snacks bounce houses and barrel train rides for very little cost with a goal of just breaking even with this event. Halloween we do a trunk or treat on the beautiful Craftsbury Common where we have so many cars that come and decorate their cars. At this event the Fire Department is so wonderful as they light up the common and the kids 150+ come get treats in a safe place and parents love it because they don't need to drive from house to house. Check out the Light Parade with holiday decorated vehicles on the Common in December, often with a visit from Santa!

Craftsbury Town Beach

Will be open Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. We ask all visitors to be considerate by keeping their pets on a leash, putting trash in the garbage can, using appropriate language and noise level. Fires are prohibited. Thank you for helping to keep the Town Beach a fun, safe place for everyone to enjoy for many years to come.
