Mail & Delivery
Rural mail delivery is an interesting process. We have two zip codes, but only one post office which is located in Craftsbury Village. The Postal Service will deliver everywhere in town and in all kinds of weather, but be sure you dig out your mailbox and keep it clear in the winter.
Other delivery services like UPS and FedEx also deliver to Craftsbury’s rural areas, but pay attention to their address requirements. Those carriers may request either your physical or your mailing address, so if you live on a mail route served by another town, be careful about which address you supply.
CRAFTSBURY POST OFFICE
Craftsbury’s post office is located right in the village and offers post office boxes and all standard US Postal Service services.You can find out what is happening in town through a mix of paper, electronic, and in-person sources. We have a growing number of online options for sharing and getting info about what’s happening locally. And don’t forget word of mouth — stop in and talk to the people who talk to everyone.Try the town office, banks and restaurants, stores, post office, and transfer station.

TOWN WEBSITE
The town has an official website with info about local government and town resources, official documents, board and committee agendas and meeting minutes, town reports, and a community calendar. There also is a new blog section called “Latest News”, check it out www.townofcraftsbury.com/latest-news-1!
FRONT PORCH FORUM
Front Porch Forum is a local listserve and calendar just for Craftsbury residents. It’s used for everything from notices of official meetings and event listings to lost dogs and potluck dinners. Every town in Vermont has its own Front Porch Forum list. Anyone with a town address or official role can sign up for free and post or receive messages on the Craftsbury list.
Facebook is the most common social media platform for Craftsbury groups and residents. Search for and “like” the many town businesses and groups that are on Facebook to stay up-to-date.The Town of Craftsbury page post a wide variety of news, announcements, photos, and info. Many town groups maintain their own pages and post much of their information there.
