2019 COC Forestry and Conservation Seminar Series: Changes in the Forests and Fields Around Us – a deep dive into the phenology and ever-changing world of the Black River Watershed.

Jim Andrews (Founder of the Vermont Herp Atlas) – During the first 40 degree, rainy evening of each spring, thousands of amphibians wake from their winter slumber and begin a well-orchestrated migration from forests to their spring breeding grounds. Come learn more about these amazing events that occur annually, the species you are likely to see during the migration, and how you can help conserve these important species. deep dive into the phenology and ever-changing world of the Black River Watershed.
