9:30 AM at Craftsbury Academy. After the preliminary program in the
gymnasium, everyone will march to the cemetery with the Craftsbury
Marching Band. Following the ceremony at the monument, all community members
are invited to a picnic lunch hosted by the Craftsbury Academy Student
Council. The buses will take students home at 12:15 PM. Students may leave
with their parents/guardians after the luncheon.

shrubs and more. Benefit Craftsbury Public Libary.

Saturday, July 12: Annual Antiques & Uniques Festival to Benefit
Vermont Children's Aid Society
10 AM– 4 PM, over 100 vendors of antiques, crafts, collectibles, and
much more, with a legendary grill tent and bake sale and live music – all
on the beautiful Craftsbury Common. Free
admission with suggested donations to benefit VCAS. Parking to benefit

Saturday, Aug. 9: Craftsbury Old Home Day
The fun begins on the Common at 9:30 AM with the traditional pet show. Kids'
games, including the dunking booth and bounce house, are scheduled to be open
from 10 AM to noon. Craftsbury Historical Society will be open 9:30 AM- 4 PM
with wonderful exhibits and Craftsbury history. The Craftsbury Fire Department
will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs. The Village Improvement Society will
be offering a luncheon in the Church on the Common and the Chuch on the Common
will be holding a Yard Sale. The weekly Common Farmer’s
Market will be open as well.
The highlight of Old Home Day is the parade beginning at 1 PM. Parade
participants are invited to assemble in the Dustan Field parking lot at
12:30 PM. Area schools, organizations, and individuals are encouraged
to create a float and share in the excitement and fun.
Following the parade will be the annual performance of the Craftsbury
Summer Shakespeare Camp. This year’s performance will take place
behind Craftsbury Academy’s Minden Hall. Starting at 2 PM, the Historical
Society be Remembering Old Home Days Past.
At 3:30 PM, the Craftsbury Masons will begin serving their famous grilled
chicken dinner at the Craftsbury Masonic Lodge.
